I have a fitting slot next weekend in Oxford if anyone is interested. Can do it quicker than I thought to total price fitted is £400. Will start providing replacement units to the V1 this week too.

Had mine fitted today. I am very impressed so far. I had a sweat with the heater on half hot and the fan on setting one. Bring on the winter.

£400 is correct - this has dropped because I can fit it quicker than I originally expected. Can't offer any reduction for having the stereo removed at that price though

This is a worthwhile "mod" if you can't bare your current heater! I had Tom fit mine 2 weeks ago and I'm glad he did after looking at the blood and scratches on his hands after If you don't have a garage or the time to do the work it's well worth getting Tom to fit it. Drove back from Oxford after the fitting and it was bucketing down rain, but was nice and toasty with the new heater. Now makes the cabin a nice place to be when it's cold and shitty outside. I drove to work the other day again and it was pumping out heat in about 5mins. 40mins in heavy London traffic and then motor way with it at it's hottest setting and highest fan speed and the temperature rose and fell as it normally does. Haven't had a proper miserable morning to see how quickly it'll demist yet but you can feel it pushing plenty of air out and I've got no doubt it'll clear the windscreen. Amazes me the time and effort Toms put in to get this where it is now, hats off big time!

One thing we did notice when we had the battery and heater out was when looking above where the centre console meets the footwell was light coming through. Also I high motorway speeds I do notice a slight cold breeze coming in. The plastic that blocks up the footwell holes, is it one piece or two separate? Looks like a journey to underneath the dash of Doooom with some sealant

Same with me, just put the car on SORN so in no rush. Still want one but happy to wait as might as well get you to fit it for me. I'm sure people using cars during winter will be happy to jump up the list a bit.
