I fitted mine at the weekend and I concur with others that the level of heat is a vast improvement over the standard setup. Relatively easy to fit as well if you follow the guide. Cheers Adam

If someone was to put themselves on the list now, what sort of timescale would they be looking at before revieveing heater? And the same question + fitting. Thanks!

Is this worth installing if your heater is OKish? At the moment I'm having to turn the temperature down a bit on the morning commute once up to temperature (15 minutes of town driving), but once the real winter arrives I find it very cold still and it takes ages to demist my windscreen.

Not really. shortened version is, my stock heater is one of the better ones once up to temperature. Is this going to be better yet?

It's not going to have the fan power over the new version. Heat build up is what I'd want to know.

The fan puts out 2-3 as much airflow, I'll be able to give you the exact increase soon. Heat output is also increased but controllable. I've been running around in mine today and turning the heat down after a few minutes.

Nope, Nov 11th for you Martin. :P Ran out of steam fitting my replacement Mk2 heater yesterday after the pfaff of getting the battery and the Mk1 version out. But, the MK2 is a veritable work of art and looks to be engineered for the life of the car. If it warms up anything like as quickly as the MK1 and pumps the same amount of air into the cabin, you're in for a treat.

Very specific date :P

Don't let the list look too intimidating, quite a lot of people on there are SORN'ed their cars or already made big purchases this month - can't blame them, they've been on the list for ages, so i've said they can come back when they're ready. This means i'm pretty close to you lot already.
