In terms of getting lots of heat pointing towards your feet (what I'm really after), does just fitting the heater completely take care of it ?
At the moment, output from my heater to windscreen is ok (fairly warm, but could do with more throughput), but pointing it to the footwell results in a vague feeling of possibly sensing warm air around there...
I'm assuming that's standard and not rubbish needing to be cleared out of mine or the need for better padding under the dash etc.
I want to avoid getting too hot top side while still having cold feet. Ideal would be lots of hot air pointing downwards and coming up from there, so I can drive around in winter with the hood down

Yeah, i pretty much run mine exclusively pointed at my feet now (once I've cleared the windscreen). Much nicer sensation to have your feet warmed and the hot air blow over your legs rather than straight in your face.

Any closer to doing a quick video of its demisting powers?!

This is mainly directed at fezz as he is the expert
Fitted my heater today, all went well, air flow is great and heat is great but the temperature control appears to do nothing just stays hot all the time.
I am fairly certain all is connected up ok.
What is the best way to troubleshoot this without ripping the car apart again, was thinking maybe checking the variable resistance at the feed to valve.
I am assuming it should have a range of voltages depending on resistor setting (what sort of range?)
On a side note on fitting I found it much much easer to fit flexible pipe to rad before fitting rad as the servo makes it very hard to fit when rad is bolted up.
