Well after weeks and weeks my car finally came back to me today after being resprayed and having the engine mounts done...
Can you guys help me diagnose further:
Well first thing i noticed was the ABS light being on...could this be a loose connection?
Possibly, check all the hub connectors. Tug on each wire (mine was loose but looked in place until you tugged).
Over heating - over 100 degrees...clams have been off so could something have been knocked etc?
It's a hot day, and you will see those temperatures if you're stuck in traffic. If the fan doesn't come in at 106 then worry, otherwise 100 deg. C is fine
Something is sliding about in the sill which was replaced...how much of a PITA would it be to get it out...sound big?
It's bonded in place, so that could be difficult. Make sure you're certain it is in the sill, not sliding around under a seat. I'd suggest filling the sill with expandable foam to stop the item from moving around instead of trying to take it apart.
Came to brake at the end of my road and they dont seem as sharp or responsive...need to pump the pedal?
Could just be crap collected on the disks while it's not been used. Try braking hard a few times to remove the crap of them.
Rear and front light steams up now, one on the front, one on the back...?
I'd be surprised if they've done anything to them. It'll clear in the sunlight, if they go back to steaming up then you'll need to seal the gaps with black tiger seal. I suspect if it's been stored somewhere shaded and damp for a while they might have picked up moisture, sunlight will drive that off.
O and to top it all off i opened the front bonnet and the latch on the lid has sheered off from the fibreglass...can this be fixed or would it need replacing for a new bonnet piece and spraying again...?
Very easy to fix fibreglass, bit of P38 should bond it back on.

P40 would be better.
Fresh fluid should improve the brakes if the old stuff has absorbed moisture and gone a bit spongy.

I always confuse the two. Yes, you're right. P40
