Man, that's almost perfect then! ;)

Nice offer Cliffe, but I'm looking to cut costs not spend money.

Best be quick Rusty, there's a guy coming to see it tomorrow who's interested and Euan that posted earlier in the thread is interested to come and see it too. I've told the guy to come on here (he saw it on SE) and look around to show that I wasn't hiding anything. I've even told him about the exhaust being quite loud. If you have any comments for him then feel free to share as I have nothing to hide.

Just wanted to share my experiences from viewing the car yesterday! You won't find a more honest and genuine bloke when buying a car. List of things wrong extends no further than what's listed. (a lot of which is minor stuff most sellers would try hide) Am waiting for finances to come through before making Bob an offer so if you could all kindly go away and not buy it that would be great! :9mm: :P In all seriousness this is a cracking car for the money and if I am lucky enough to get it, it will definitely be staying in the club and hooned around the UK and Europe for a few more years to come! rallly Cheers Bob thumbsup

Cliffie's chassis seems to be holding up juuuust fine, and that's older than 10years and has done over 100,000 miles, seems a bit of a moot point.

:yeahthat:

I know of a yellow S1 Elise with over 200K on it running a supercharged Honda type R engine. Other than some ropey bodywork it goes just fine.

One more price drop and then I have to deal with the pistonheads crowds

£4650

One more thing to add is that the car was registered in Jan 2001 so it benefits from the cheaper tax. thumbsup

Hi martin, for some reason I'm not getting the notifications telling me I've got a pm. Have seen them now and replied. Car is still available. Thanks Bob
