When I was younger (so some time ago) a guy up the road renowned for building fast cars had a mark 3 escort coloured 'metallic marmalade' - a light orange metallic, looked fantastic.

Mine is silver - but I always wanted a lightning edition. I didn't have the patience to wait and bought the one I have now. Although Ilike silver and am very pleased with my current car a lightning edition that fits my budget and I would have gone for has just come up for sale. I did have a few pangs of regret - but there you go.

Also I have always loved british racing green. However I saw a VX for sale in this colour not too long ago, and I didn't think it really suited the VX. Strange that? Maybe if I saw it in the flesh it would change my mind??
