[VX220 RABITA]

Hi All, Im having problems with my vx220. It hasnt been used in 4 months and would not start so i replaced the battery. It ran fine but but when reversing i breaked suddenly and the car completley cut out. I replaced the fuel pump checked the relays and hit the fuel cut of device but the car still wont start. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Cormac

I assume you have enough fuel? Have you checked the spark?

Yeah tanks full, when you say spark do you mean spark plugs ? If so then yeah i checked them and there in pretty good nic

Have you checked the battery hasn't moved and is still fixed in place by the backing plate? Check the terminals too in case its shorted on the tub.

check fuel pump relay , when you turn on ignition can you hear fuel pump ( not the buzzing throttle ) , the relays are in the boot hidden right behind the NSR light

Any EML? Whereabouts are you? The reason I ask is that help may not be too far away.

my car turned over without firing, that was becuse my engine imploded... As sugested post your location and someone might be able to come have a look. battery sounds likly as it was just replaced

check fuel pump relay , when you turn on ignition can you hear fuel pump ( not the buzzing throttle ) , the relays are in the boot hidden right behind the NSR light

I can hear the relays clicking but cant hear any buxxing noise

Terminals are good and battery still in place in the backing place
