Hi guys sold my vx220 at the start of the year due to pulling the plug on my garrett build. and i missed it since the day i sold it. since then i have had a 340bhp mk1 focus rs and a astra vxr nurburgring, now im back in a vx220. but late for the summer but never mind.

so the plans this time are simple keep it to stage 4 well maybe stage 4 with a few extra bits to stick to about 310 so i can keep standard z20let in there. then put coilovers on and rear diffuser and a few visual bits and bobs but nothing to major.

heres a few pics i think you guys will all know the car:

How did the VX compare in power and performance to the focus? Glad to see you are coming back to the VX.

Nice looking car. Suggest you check those lines next to the coolant tank as they don't look right and I believe they are fuel?

Blimey, that was a fast sale, change of cars 2 times and return to new VX ! I still don't really understand why you sold you old VX so fast when you were close to finishing your old project. BTW your old engine went into Simon's car today ;)

What looks wrong with fuel lines? Nev I just pulled the plug as i had so much money sat in the car and it did my head in. And needed to spend about another 3k to finish, Nevermind Simon I believe you have. Lol, you don't have a Chargecooler for me tho as you have that on Your car. Yea it's a nice car had been a previous damaged vx but all looks spot on really :) and I love being back in a vx220

There could well be nothing wrong with the lines or connection as it stands but they are usually each attached to the header tank bracket in 2 places, one on top of the other. Assume this is just to keep them out of the way to minimise the risk of disturbing them.

Rear clam looks like a Tubby... as it has the crest for the tubby's poorer location.

Make sure they are secure. I had the same issue and ended up with a massive fuel leak and was lucky the car didn't go up in flames.

Hi Craig, I found your car on piston heads I see your selling it. Would it be possible to get some info on it?
