I went tyo a Javlin airfield day today at Barkston Heath with the WSCC boys and took the VX (last drive this year before SORN tomorrow) and took a few pics.














Had a good day out, Javlin did the business as per usual and the Westy boys did a good job of destroying a few sets of tyres.
I took a few pictures of my old Westy (now in Austria and winning time attack events) in the same location a few years back.
The Seat spoiler and Scotty Bob carbon ears look the biz.
Just need a turbo lip spoiler for the rear end.

I'm trying to picture it with a black turbo rear lip spoiler but I think i may bottle it and go with silver......maybe.

It's not a westie, ya know. It does have a roof, a windscreen and a heater (sort of).

Well, there is a reason.
I need the garage space over the winter to get my single seater finished (by March hopefully) and the tempory location where the VX will be stored is about 10 miles away.
So not having the VX on the road over the winter frees up time, space and cash to get the single seater build on track.
There is madness in the logic there somewhere.

JoshuaUXB has black wheels, black intakes and a black tubby spoiler. Works a treat. But his car is a non standard light blue.

If you look at the red car this also has black wheels, mirrors ,spoiler ,intake looks fantastic but I would say that as it is mine:-)

Thik it is corale blue but not sure as there are two blues

You mean The one on the right is coral blue(top pic) unless your looking at the bottom picture which I'm sure you are

The blue one to the far side of the red one is coral. The blue in the most recent pic is europa.

Didn't have a choice as that was what it came with.
I'd have preffered black leather too but it's the dark blue which goes well enough with the silver body colour.
All in all I'm pleased with how the car looks now.
I'll be adding a diffuser and a lip rear spoiler over the winter to finish it off nicely.
