No reliance from me, however presumably if you are going to injection mould a choice of colours would be available?   or would these follow the standard VX colour schemes?  For example.  I wouldn't want all black...

Being in injection moulding for 15 years, i think to keep costs down and simpicity it would be wise to do them in turbo colours. Then any n/a owners would be able to spray the bits silver if they require. 2 colour injection moulding is complicated and more expensive.

Exactly my plan Nige. I'll send a batch of the units off to get sprayed silver. This is the same approach Vauxhall took

Will they be in the same design as the originals? In Germany we have more and more problems that the hight of the low beam lens is not 50cm from the ground. Especially on lowered cars. This is a point in the European homologation that more and more cops are looking at and the car will fail German mot if the inspector looks for that. That means low beam must be at the position from the cornering light. Then it would be fine

Can you provide more details about this, is it an issue with standard suspension height?

Very few specifications should require the car to evolve, as long as the car is manufactured to the legislation at the time then there shouldn't be an issue.

you know what "zee germans" are like with their stupid TUV stuff that means you can modify a car aslong as its 100% OEM etc.

Catering for that specific use case will screw everything up imho... given here there are no such restrictions and it only seems to be a problem if you've slammed the car in Germany

That's what I was getting at.

The headlights will be legal assuming everything else is. I can't start catering for every possibility. The designs assuming they look similar to OEM, they have a better projector mounting approach which should mean you won't need to worry about snapped adjustor bolts, that said, the current design has stood up to 10+ years of abuse, which isn't a bad lifespan.

Still happening, still not going to give timings because I don't want people dependant on them. You'll know when they're ready because i'll be listing my headlights before they drop in price ;)
