update: should have a quote for moulding in April. I have a more durable method of projector mounting (no more broken plastic cups), but packaging the main beam projector without extensive modification is still difficult.

 

Don't worry, i'll try to make as many people aware of the crowd funding when it happens.

It's taken a long time but I now have a viable route to manufacture which should offer appeal above the standard headlights. I hope to have a better update in the new year and from that point on I'll start working towards a crowd sourcing model.

Yes.

 

As mentioned during the lens campaign, this will lead to a discount on the final cost of the unit.

Targeting the price of a used unit (each, not a pair). However won't be able to confirm until I have total costs and production part in hand.

Like many I've followed this with interest without committing, but today I slipped in the garage, banged my head and knee quite badly, but worst of all dropped a fecking great mig welder on the front of my VX! The paintwork got a few gashes and although the Fez headlight covers took it like a man and didn't break, they've some deep scores. ....so taking that as an omen, I'm signing up to whatever
