I need a driver side headlight. It is becoming more difficult to find a good quality one without some damage to the unit. So add me to the very interested list also.

And I'm keen to commit to the first batch when you have all the details finalised (spec, cost, timescale, etc.) to help keep things moving along.

So does that mean only 10-20 pairs will be made?

No, 10-20 are the optimum batch size, however if i can't get the interest for the first batch there won't be another.

Ah. Roger that! : thumbsup:

Essentially, everything can be produced in volume other than the carbon fibre cluster where there's an optimum batch size where they make enough to justify setup cost but not enough to impact production of other jobs.

Please add me to the very intrested list. Ta

:-) 1. Richard

Thanks all. I'll try to have rough pricing monday.

Yes. LHD is easier to do as there are more xenon projector sources.

Are there others with lenses paid for and waiting for complete units?

Yes. The crowdfunding and general pricing will allow for them.

I've got CAD of the cluster (haven't modelled the projectors as these are essentially in a 2D plane and easy to accommodate). I haven't discussed weave alignment with the company but this will be visual grade 3k carbon for the outer skin.

The company i'm using also produces the headlights for these:

One of my headlights has had a dodgy repair to the mounts by a previous owner and needs replacing, so dependent on price I'm interested.

Is the cluster designed with the CAD drawing from the front lenses. In other words: 1 on 1 fitment with cluster and lens?

The cluster started as a 3D scan of the current cluster to ensure the geometry is correct. The model was modified to accommodate a larger dipped beam projector (3 inch bi-xenon unit) and different mounting. It was then cross checked against the CAD from the lenses to ensure fitment.

Tom, for German roads a some kind of cleaning device for xenons is necessary to get them legalized. I remember that you wrote you will supply this feature?

Good point.

There's a version of the washer fluid pump with two outputs. My intention would be to feed these to the headlights. I'm undecided between mounting this on the clam under the lamp or in the corner of the lamp unit itself.
