When these are available Tom, will the production run be ongoing or time limited?
I anticipate they'll be available by the end of May, however i'll clarify that as I progress.
I would hope production will be ongoing, but with all of these projects, if there's not enough interest to start with (unlikely, but you never know), there's less reason to continue.

Tom, I'm always a fan of your carefully engineered products. Mark me for a pair of headlights please.
(if there's xenon option, I'd rather have watersprayers made as part of light, just for the sake of easier installation and harmless retrograde if needed)

To clarify the comments around self-leveling and washing requirements within the UK;
If a vehicle is fitted with self-leveling (suspension or headlight) and washing system, the equipment must be functional. If the self-leveling system cannot be tested, the benefit of doubt is given. This does not mean that the absence of a system is a fail; the Mitsubishi Evo VIII and Renault Clio 182 are examples of production vehicles with xenons but without washing functionality.
Of course, other markets are not in the same position. The self-leveling requirement is mitigated by the limited load carrying capacity of the VX. The washing requirement will be met with a separate washing system. The action for me is to identify washers of the correct angle. Given the size of the washers, these are unlikely to fit within the headlight assembly

Hi Tom
I'm very interested in a pair of lenses and the housing, but still a non xenon version for me. I'm sure I'll find a way to mount the non xenon projectors as well maybe I have to make an adaptor.
Great work! I really appreciate your effort!
Do you still have lenses? Would it support you if I buy a pair of lenses now?
Cheers
Harry
Hi Harry,
I think I will be able to supply adaptors to turn the projector into a non-xenon one. The savings will be fairly low though as the ballast doesn't add much value.
I have lenses and sales always help, however if the intent is to combine with the housing, it's probably better to wait.
Hi Tom
Fantastic, even better! And yes I would like to combine housing and lenses.
I'll definitively buy a pair and a colleague of mine will too.
Cheers
Harry

1st batch production is scheduled for week commencing 23rd May. Hope to have more details on projector selection and improvements relative to OEM this week.

If the front units are successful I will develop rears too, however rears are generally lower cost and more available so were not my priority.

Some interesting comments on headlight technology here: http://www.iihs.org/...eed-improvement
"The Prius v's LED low beams should give a driver traveling straight at 70 mph enough time to identify an obstacle on the right side of the road, where the light is best, and brake to a stop," says Matthew Brumbelow, an IIHS senior research engineer. "In contrast, someone with the halogen lights would need to drive 20 mph slower in order to avoid a crash."
the halogen lights on the BMW 3 series are the worst. A driver with those headlights would have to be going 35 mph or slower to stop in time for an obstacle in the travel lane.

I promised an update on the projectors used in these headlights.
I've evaluated a lot of projectors to identify the best while balancing the packaging requirements. As you can see from the back of the original headlight, there's not much room in there:
this is the output of the original projector;
Next up, a Bosch projector as used in a range of BMWs. I'm using this one as it's an example of the worst performing projector I sourced.
Finally, the selected projector, you can see this has a much broader beam pattern which will fully illuminate the road and signs.
Some of the other projectors which were tested.
