Yes, the lenses are included however there are some people who have pre-purchased the lenses from the original group buy (but are still held by me), therefore they are offered a discounted price.

Yes, that's 10, however I am open to more orders. This is likely the only batch i'll be able to put in this year (given the carbon fibre manufacture availability).

I'll close this by the weekend.

What's the old warranty on these units if any? I'm guessing there won't be a stage 1.2 like the heater units as they are quite literally a carbon copy of OEM apart from the lamps themselves.

The first post here was on October 2012, and since then there's been a lot of work on these to get them to where they are today. Significantly, the mounting system has been completely redesigned and is much more robust (typical failure point on OEM units). The projectors, ballast, bulbs and so on are off the shelf parts.

So i'll guarantee headlight hardware (mounting attachments and so on) for 5 years and electronics for 2 years.

You're right that there won't be any iterations of these. I've tried to do the development away from the forum as much as possible to make sure I come to market with the best product I can.

That's great. I just don't want to buy them and there's a new version in Jan with LED's and pink inserts that I'd really want. ;)

I was thinking the same, but it sounds like you've really gone to work on these.

I haven't seen a single good looking aftermarket DRL LED install, for that reason alone I didn't spend too long exploring the option here. I'd much rather offer a properly engineered headlight

Tom, random question, as you obviously have the mould now, would you be prepared to make a set out of pre preg glass fibre? Just thinking that it would be cheaper, and may satisfy people that want to paint them. Also, the photo's on the previous pages, are they lacquered, or just the moulded finish polished up? Fair play for bringing this to market, must have taken a long time and alot of thought and R&D to get this sorted. Hats off to you

A prepeg glass fiber instead of carbon (same tools to produce it I think) could not be possible to make a cheaper matt black version ?

Price difference is very small as most of the cost comes from labour (specifically, the complexities of forming this shape).

Already beat you to it.

First photo was straight out of the mould. The one populated with projectors is lacquered
