Tom can you confirm pricing/availability for those of us with a set of lenses sat at home please?

Crowdfunded lenses brings total cost down to £1135, however final numbers are needed by next week for the first batch

Numbers need to be finalised this weekend!

No problem, with the levels of interest so far it's likely there will be a second batch but not until March/April due to the carbon fibre manufacturer availability (F1 winter season keeps them busy between October and March).

Waiting to confirm a few international payments (including yours). Then send numbers to CF manufacturer as well as placing orders for the lamp components.

Shouldn't be a problem. We have had a public holiday yesterday so I expect to be able to confirm today or tomorrow.

Both moulds now signed off for production.

(note, left part is straight out of the mould and roughly trimmed, with right side is fully trimmed with gloss coat)

...will there be the possibility to choose whether matt or gloss coat for the carbon insert?

I would prefer to avoid proliferation of options unless there's a strong demand for matt CF

Update:

Production has started at a rate of 1 pair per day, 5 days a week. Almost all the components needed have been ordered in bulk (xenon projectors ordered yesterday) and some have started arriving. Will be sending these out in a phased approach once I start to receive the carbon fibre enclosures otherwise i'll be tripping over completed parts.

Cheers Tom. I'm really glad you decided to buy a VX220! Did you nearly buy another car when you decided to get a 220?

Yup. A Peugeot 306 diesel, however I realised the error of my ways and bought another Peugeot 306 about four years ago.
