Hi Tom, thanks for the update. Could you write a list of deposit holders and the state of their order with which type they ordered please? That way we can see who's first in line to have theirs finished. For example:

Andy: Black carbon with LED main beam (£680 paid)

Only three pairs out in the wild at the moment. Next set will be out mid-week, I'll put photos up of each set from now on

Not how it's working at the moment - i've got a pair of each option made up as references and working on them in batches, so for example all the RHD LED black units will be done in one go as I can refer back to the same master unit

I'll put some tracking up for the backers with the next dispatch

Can we get some light shed on this

Care to illuminate us

Don't keep us in the dark

(bored now and recycled material)

Any pics of the ones that went in Rustys car, :poke: working well?  (I'm expecting a raging success story of awesome proportions)

Why this order? I have partially assembled headlights meeting the requested specs of the above.

Photos to follow with the next complete set.

Current challenge is keeping dust off the projectors on final assembly. I'm now taking a set apart to clean and apply a new set of lenses due to this. Any thoughts? Windscreen cleaner?

Thanks Tom.

What about some kind of antistatic spray?

Any thoughts?

Assemble them in the bathroom with the shower running hot to create a load of steam to take the dust out of the atmosphere. Uncomfortable as hell but it always works a treat when applying mobile/tablet screen protectors whether they're glass or film types.

Garden sauna install as a business expense? :D

Anti-static spray may dull the lens later because of the propellant. It's probable the lights will get some dust in at some point though, is it really that bad in your house?

Not that bad, but bear in mind i'm comparing these to new OEM lights which will be assembled in clean environments.

I'm going to try camera lens wipes first, if they don't work I'll give tack cloth a go

Turbo boy - gloss CF with LED main beam.

One side complete, other side having final sealant applied to rear (not shown because it's covered in frogtape while it cures!)

Gorgeous!

Guessing if you’re on that design, I’ll be somewhere in the near future 😬

That's nice, so the 90mm module is LED? Any issues with EMI on the 12V or is it well filtered?
