any news? would be nice for us that lives outside of UK and do have delivery of the first batch to get these before end of year so we don't have to pay extra fees due to Brexit...

I would have thought that if you have paid for them then any additional costs should be paid for by the seller to be honest. You agreed to pay £xxx for product A, not £xxx plus £yy.

I guess it ain't gonna happen but that would be the honourable thing to do.

I made the first payment of £650 on 25 August 2016... hopefully the final price will stay the same including any extra fees...I think I was one of the first ones to show interest in these.:)

If you've paid, you've paid.

Also, given Tom isn't VAT registered (afaik), why would the prices now attract VAT? Even with Brexit changes.

Hopefully Tom can pop in and give an update, I'll drop him a PM requesting an update as I don't think we've had one since start of September.

I can tell you about the German handling only (starting Jan. 1. 2021).

It does not depend on whether the seller is subject to VAT in England or not, on imports from a certain amount (between ~ 25 to 45 euros) the VAT is due, from a higher amount there is an additional customs fee. Until Dec. 31. 2020 neither of the two amounts is due (GB still member of the EU).

Because Sweden is also a member of the EU I think a similar regulation will apply there.

You can try to declare the shipment as a present, but I'm not sure if the custom clearing will accept this declaration. If it's declared correctly in total the pricing of the product will increase about 30%.

This information I receipt from German custom clearing some weeks ago.

You'll just have to come across to the UK for a "trackday" and conveniently find a new set of headlights fitted to your car for the return journey. :ninja: :D

Couldn't agree more.

It's on my bucket list list. Might as well combine.  thumbsup

If we get a stock of headlights done, we could have an "International national" with say the Tuesday at somewhere like Zolder and the Thursday at say Cadwell Park - ferry from Hull/Zeebrugge would make it work well surely?
