Fezzasus, when you start on the finished lights, will this be a one run only thing, or are you likely to make other batches/make to order? Quite like the idea of these, saves me splitting my existing lights, but would be looking at buying towards the end of this year/beginning of next year ideally.

This sounds good, I would be interested if the price was right, would also be good if the plastic clear covers could be screw fixed so they could easily be changed as oppose to have split the light.

Nothing tangible yet, still messing around with 3D models, it'll be quick once they are complete, just there's only one chance to get them right.

In terms of DRL you can fire 1 led (per 'straight' section) from the side/end of a light guide. You then won't get fairy lights but a continuous strip of light. Think latest Audi A6.

I don't get why anyone would be not interested in the poll. Surely every one has the potential to crack and damage their headlights in some way.

.. sorry i'm not interested in people trying to help make our lives easier by reproducing hard to get parts.

It's happening, but the timing of late summer might have been a bit optimistic, lots of quality checking before I commit to the mould - as I can really only afford to do it once it needs to be right.

I know you're working on the manifold atm, but is there any news about the headlights?

Not really, still waiting for some quotes. It is still happening, it's just a lot of money to commit to the moulds as they're very, very expensive and i can only afford to do it once, so it needs to be right first time.

I've lost track of the thread a bit since it was first posted, so apologies if it has been answered already. I am looking for a replacement driver side headlamp. Will the lamp units you are using be a good match for the lamps in the passenger OE unit, i.e. good for a single replacement, or would I be better to source a pair from you and sell on the OE unit?

Not in a big hurry, just planning ahead for when I get the car back on the road next year.

Thanks.

Got to be honest, my headlights seem pretty decent. Only thing I have done is add some Osram Nightbreakers..
