From what I remember of my old GT5 Academy thread Chris is rather good at this.
If we do racing again we should organise it better in advance and try and get more people, also disable all the driver aids and the boost. Oh and avoid SS route 7 as it's far too long, actually crashed on the straight as I was bored and checking my emails.
I came 19th overall in the uk when it was run. 280,000 entries or something.

just tried to do a time trial on TG track but i couldn't find it. Don't think you can race that track unless u do the special races. Monza is good for a timed lap though, just did a 1:53 in my VXT
i'll use the GT86 and see if i can beat it
To get the top gear track you need to unlock it through the special events.
Gt86 should be in your garage.

You had 2 cars a 370 stock on crap tyres and a race version.
I got 18th in the stock them moved to the race finally got to 19th i could knock off about 0.25 of a second but i settled with 19th (only needed top 20) but by that time my stock time slipped to 30 odd but i just couldnt get used to the grip or lack of grip and only managed to get 25th or something so putting the times together i didnt qualify.
