How can it be that much to import them over? Are elise parts making money off us from the import fees? How come there is another £10 delivery on top when i have already paid for delivery for it to my door. Not being nasty just want to know the answers.

I'd like to know if the VATs being claimed back by the business that paid for them. This could then be passed onto us, or has it?

Just a question and not instigating anything here. :)

There is no business paying for them, I paid for them and I am not a business, I am not VAT registered and cannot claim VAT back. We all knew this was coming guys. I know it doesn't make it any less and £300 odd is a lot (not more than I expected, just more than I'd hoped). The extra tenner is delivery from EP to you, the original delivery was from Australia to UK. We could have sent them all individually from Oz to UK but that was an extra $60Aus each and we would have been hit for 8 custom clearance charges rather than just one. I figured the extra tenner (plus VAT) wasn't so bad if it saved each of us £40-50 in the end.

Brand new from CS, at the time that seemed the best approach. Would probably do it differntly now, though would still want a new one.

That's what we would have paid if we had shipped individually to UK addresses.
