If you knew what the first Harrop VX220 customer paid for his charger shipped to an Aussie address, you would realise how good a deal this is. Just so you all know and the situation is clear, here is how this came about. I borrowed NickB777's Harrop (Weapon X) and ran it in the last 4 rounds of Time Attack. It turned the season around but the deal was I had to give the charger back. So the monday after the last round I contacted Harrop regarding sponsorship for 2013 which I have albeit only a discounted unit, not free. The conversations on here regarding Harrops sparked interest and I had a few VXers contact me regarding deals so I contacted Harrop re a group buy. So, there is nowt in this for me regarding the GB, I am not getting a freebie off the back of this.

Right, I will put the order in with Harrop on the 5th November and will only order those that are paid for in full with cleared funds in my account before that time. If you are serious, please PM me, I will send account details.

Not for a moment thought you were trying to get anything out of it mike. I'd be happy for you to gain something though, considering the phone calls and time spent sorting this all out. Could I ask what the ruff figure was for a single unit to be shipped over in the past?

I hope the VXer in question doesn't mind me quoting but...
"You certain about that price?$2000 delivered? I ask because in 2008 I paid $2634 shipped to Adelaide from melbourne there is a heck of a difference here, as they wanted another $400 for 1 unit to the UK."

£1600 for enough boost to get circa 370 BHP is good value if you ask me. Good luck with the customs guys.

Out of interest, from the order date in november, how long would it take to arrive? I am on stage 3 internals, but not mapped yet, it seems little point in mapping it when I am just going to swap the charger over anyway. Does anyone know how much the injectors cost for running this? I have the info on a fuel set up, but the only thing on the list is injectors now.

The planned build date is mid November for delivery end of November. You need the VXR blue injectors, I paid £90 for mine new including rail.

Thank you, in fairness the increase in cost after stage 3 (after the frighful amount stage 3 costs) isnt that high :)

it would make more sense to go direct from a stage 2 to a stage 4

I'm buying a Harrop in this Group Buy - I know it is going to eye wateringly expensive to get everything done but I'm only doing it once so I'm bracing myself and biting the pillow.

From Vocky's comment and others I have seen I assume most components for 3 are the same as 4, with the Harrop being the key difference (and suitable map)..?
So I guess I automatically go straight to Stage 4, do not stop, do not pass go... Right...?

If the answers yes, I think I will be also booking a Walshy day.
