Ladies and gentlemen of the forum,

Anyone know anything about this tubby? Is the seller a forum member? Seems a bit expensive, even though it looks extra-clean.

Interestingly, the seller claims there are rear headrests... Looks like careless, standard advert copied and pasted with some detail changes and therefore smells a bit like a trader masquerading as a private seller to me.

All you can do is go and have a look at it, look at all the docs etc. get an HPI check. This must be one of the last few of the production line and yes I agree it is a little overpriced. Looks tidy though.

It is however one of the last completely standard Turbo's left on the road though by the look of it!

Good ones are few and far between, the best will attract a premium and rightly so. I'd much rather pay 14k for that (if it is as good as it looks) than the vast majority of 10-11k cars i've seen for sale recently.

There's plenty wrong. It really does look like a lazy, unscrupulous trader.

Has to be a dealer with an advert as careless as that. When I was looking at Integras I went to see one at a dealer and I saw him in the office placing adverts on Pistonheads as a private seller. Must happen all the time. Makes you wonder why he doesn't want to sell it properly through his business

Purely going from the ads of course. I haven't seen it so it could be a dog for all I know, but it would be the first one I'd go and see if I were looking to buy. I'd give this one a miss as the ad is pretty strange and the price is what I paid for a 14,000 mile car from a Vaux main dealer with warranty and good part-ex deal back in '09...

You could, but I think that's clutching at straws
I put cars on Autotrader every week & I wouldn't highlight cloth seat trim & not mention leather.

As said above there are some real dogs for sale at the minute. That car has been for sale for a while, so I would phone the owner and see what price they would except. Steve
