Thorney, can we sort out the members gallery, the look of it is dire compaired to the rest of the board !! Also, what's with the ad's are they sponsorship for the site?

Working on it. And no, we have no sponsorship thus far, BMW3 is run by a mate who helped me build this and Burnham Garage is there to hopefull encourage other people to sponsor the site.

No worries, so does this cost much to run? etc.

Thus far..........£3k and an on going amount which varies on bandwidth, software etc etc.

3k, what on earth for, hosting ?? How much space are we looking at, and how much bandwidth do we peak at? Software, well I've never used this board but Vbulletin is only £140 and PHP and Mysql are free !!

£2k went on clothing, the stickers ain't free (but I give em away), some software was free some not, gave some money to web mate to help me build it etc etc. I wont measure the amount of time it takes. Maybe I'm being a bit sensitive but a lot of your posts do seem a bit critical?

I prefer the .org, makes us sound more important. Thorney, have to say, If you need any help with the site I'd be up for helping. Have a useful brother who works in TV and Animation who also rocks at the flash stuff sure I can convince him to lend a hand..... Nick

What I thnk would be really good is a flash animation where our logo turns into the text : VX220 Owners club.........yes it IS a Vauxhall. That way I can use it as advertising on other sites and sigs for other forums How about that?
