- 304L Steel tube (1.5 mm thick walls).
- TIG welded.
- Considerably lighter than OEM.
- It eliminates an 180 degree bend to flow better.
- Flows very well (made 309 BHP on a stage 4 car), and helped contribute to a high power output. Also may slightly improve spool speed due to lack of back pressure.
- Bespoke design, fabricated by Longfile exhausts in Bristol.
- Fairly noisy (103.7 dB static test at 0.5 metres at Castle Coombe). That was with my 500 BHP engine, yours will likely be a bit quieter.
- Huge 450 BHP race cat, 200 cell, MOT compliant when hot.
- Has a flexi-joint.
- Twin 'industrial' tailpipes.
- Fits onto standard OEM mounting points.
- Correct lambda sensor bungs + extra bung for wideband sensor (you can put a £1 blanking bolt into this if you dont use it).
All in all this would be a good exhaust for anyone tuning up to about 450 BHP. However, the downpipe on it at the moment is configured to mate to a Garrett turbo. You would need to have the last 12 inches of the downpipe modified to mate with your exiting K04 turbo. This would be a fairly simple job for any local exhaust place, and take approx 3 hours (roughly £150). If you live near Bristol, I can even put you in touch with the guys who made it and they will make the change and fit it all for you.
I am asking for £900 + postage/delivery (may be able to drive and meet 1/2 way possibly). Considerably (ie £500) cheaper than an off the shelf item.
