Whats your reason for selling the Scooby - seems a shame to sell such a good B-road basher.

I took it as p/x but my heart is still after a vxturbo. Its a lovely car and pulls very well but Im bored with 4wd cars.
Im not sure how its performance would stack up though against a vx but its pristine inside and out.
Its as youd expect of a 2006 subaru. Fsh etc

personally Id say it wouldnt touch the gtr but your your right in saying it will sell easier, hopefully. Certainly nowhere near as fast but newer and less of a unknown quantity. Its fast with all the comforts one needs. Its blue inside though

Those Scoobies are good cars for B-roads and bumpy stuff, but once on 1/2 decent tarmac a 300 HP VX will leave them for dust.

are you the resident ahole or just a thread crapper ;) he's right though, on a "dry" track a stage 2 vx would beat one of these. For those wanting to move away from that scene but still maintain 90% of the thrill but with more everyday drivability and comfort then this is a good option ;)

That is the issue of a focused vx you can have your arse spanked by something half as quick as you cant get the power down or the hedges call you in anything other that half decent tarmac :D lol - problem in this country seems to be getting that half decent tarmac also lol

On track its a different matter but its a thin line with setup of a vx from road / track and tend to not cross over brilliant imo

Does look a nice example, had a P1 when I was 19 and loved it but got all the wrong attention and stopped all the time - cant believe I used to pay £3k insurance :o sold it 6 months later as I was sure it would be stolen lol - you really could carry decent speed in most conditions in a safe controlled fashion - would be easy to clock up points

Good luck with the sale, did prefer your skyline ;)

I'd like one. Would really complement the VX. If I didn't need to tow a big trailer I'd probably get one.

Can it tow this?

I don't think it will, and it's not for lack of lb ft.

I suspect the payload on that trailer would be too much for the maximum load allowed on the Scooby.
