Just got the hardtop back from the sprayers. Car now parked up and ready for winter. Cannot believe I have only washed this car once since buying it 6 months ago. Still looking nice!

Because I won't be driving it it is on the ramp to prevent flat spots on the tyres.

I wish you luck. That cold winter murdered my car 3 years ago. I really don't know what to recommend in terms of covers, I think my breathable one did help a bit, but its tough to say. My fingers are crossed for a mild one!!

wheels need to be gloss for me :) not loving the matt look.

Its really hard to maintain the definition of individual elememts of the car with black. Air intakes, aren't so well defined, wheels arches, tyres and wheels blend easily etc etc. Therefore you have to rely on texture of each element and body and wheels have to be very reflectived to maintain the difference. maybe this picture illustrates it a little:

its also one of the reasons i'm fighting the urge to go to a black screen surround though again, with matt textures you can make it stand out from other elements of the car. i wouldn't touch the V though, or the insides of the lights for that reason

Its a very subjective thing though :) thumbsup
