I personally like the look with Matt black, wheels, V, Fuel cap and window surround. I would do the ears and door mirrors too.

wheels need to be gloss for me :) not loving the matt look.

Its really hard to maintain the definition of individual elememts of the car with black. Air intakes, aren't so well defined, wheels arches, tyres and wheels blend easily etc etc. Therefore you have to rely on texture of each element and body and wheels have to be very reflectived to maintain the difference. maybe this picture illustrates it a little:

its also one of the reasons i'm fighting the urge to go to a black screen surround though again, with matt textures you can make it stand out from other elements of the car. i wouldn't touch the V though, or the insides of the lights for that reason

Its a very subjective thing though :) thumbsup

Wheni get a set of speedlines they will be gloss black.

Think I'm in the minority here but I think I prefer the soft top (on mine anyway) but maybe that's because mines yellow And black and with the black soft top it brakes it up nicely, looks good on yours though with it all been black :)

I am with you on that one. On aims car a black roof would look nice to match the other bits.

:yeahthat:

Yep. Although I'd gloss black the V; either way, both the cars pictured in this thread look really nice.

Black is the new black.
