Vauxhall VX220 for sale.
It has covered just over 70k miles.
2003 plate car
2.2 engine
Black in Colour
Registered LPG conversion.

£4800 or offers near.

So heres my description. Its as honest as far as my vx200 (very limited) knowledge goes. I got the car from a friend that owes me money! I've got the car and the v5 so im not out to waste anyones time.

The bodywork on the car isn't great, it has a number or imperfections on the body that could do with sorting. The car also has some cracks around the body on the passenger side which need investigating.

The car also has an LPG conversion allowing you to get mega cheap mileage.

The car needs a new battery but will start fine with a spare I had lying about in the garage.

Probably wouldn't take a massive amount to get it through an MOT. The brakes probably need a spruce up, but I haven't got the time, knowledge or missus to allow me!

The car also has no tax.

I've put on as many pictures as i've currently got but let me know if if you'd like to see some more specific images.

Listed as spaires or repair as it needs someone to give it some TLC. Would make an awesome track car or great winter project for someone.

You are welcome to view and make a sensible offer, in the weston super mare area.

Happy to speak to anyone about the car, just dont want to plaster my phone number over the internet so drop me an email/PM first.

Pictures below, good bad and ugly.

I was wondering when this one would rear its head. I test drove it about 2-3 years ago. A previous owner in Manchester did some very strange mods including the LPG and changing all the switchgear. Does it still have the pentagrams and snakeskin? I'm not sure how you would take the clams off as they have been bonded to the sills and the front is full of expanding foam. Drove surprisingly well and the lpg worked though. Would make a great track car for somebody.

This car was discussed a couple of months ago - don't know why it came up though. http://www.vx220.org...ssis-questions/ http://www.vx220.org...lpg-conversion/ Not good reading

Sorry fella but you have a bit of a bad'un with known history. TBH, about £3k is where you are at with it as it will take quite a bit to get it back together well.

thank for the replies guys....so i guess i'll be going back to the guys that owes me money....and getting some more cash from him....grrr! in light of that - it would have to be going for cheaper, and ill let the scoundrell pay the difference. So, track car or spares (off the road) who's going to make an offer, or who's handy with a tig welder and can do a proper job? No sensible offer refused right now!!

So are you confirming that BG03 TFV is the car mentioned in the "Scary Chassis Questions" and has chassis damage on the passenger rear

Seems like you got a bad deal if it is, value would be around £2500 breaking it for parts

I think we confirmed it had severe chassis damage on the near side. (which would tally with the frankenstein sill repair)

I think it really needs breaking for parts if it is confirmed as the chassis damaged car :(

Sad to see a VX in such bad condition. Good luck with the sale. It needs a lot spending on her if it was for the road or track.
