This is a serious for sale thread. If you have nothing to contribute leave it alone.

If this is the car I think it is or remember right. It has serious chassis damage and is butchered on the sill . Cracks and LPG may put majority off, parts breaking. Most parts I assume are in bad condition to , If chassis is twisted an rest subframe just break it individual parts .

That is a propper dog. Clearly some terrible bodge repairs on it, I've not seen another VX like it in 5 years :(

I feel for the OP, he clearly had no idea of the well documented and chequered history the car has.

You're too kind Mike. thumbsup I think it was obvious what it was from 500 yards. No one would look at that sill i think it was probably ok.

The trouble is, nothing on the car is good. The rear clam has been glued to the sills, and cut for the tank. At least one sills is a write off and the front clam has a question mark on it too (more than one actually). The subframe probably isn't straight, the engine and drive train have done 75k miles, the suspension has lived in the sea, the interior is shot. There is no case than can be made other than for putting it out of its misery and selling off the few items that may make a couple of quid. Every other car on the market would be a better proposition than this.

I was being ironic TBH JG. Most of us know what the outcome for Theolodian was.

But apart from that... worth a punt, right?
