I seen the advert on gumtree , I feel sorry for the person if they have paid above 2 k for it . What a mess and as jg has said everything is bonded on and has big chassis problems. Not to mention outline rear subframe I bet , unless somebody picked it up cheap for a track slag car.

Not sold through gumtree - reminds me - got to take that ad down - thumbsup (don't want the continue influx - lol)
I don't feel sorry for the breaker - they know the crack (excuse the pun) with the car!

Glad to hear it, it's usually a shame to see these cars going to the breakers, but with this car it's probably saved someones life.

Says in the ebay auction selling the LPG system out of it that it came from a vehicle being broken so perhaps, at last, it is being put out of its misery

hopefully the end of this saga ........

We break lots of lotus's but have never seen such a bad repair thats been returned to the road but we needed lights and a few bits for our new track toy so we bought it as a spare and will be cutting the chassis up once its been stripped

Agreed. Sounds like its met the end of the road thumbsup Esmotorsport seem to have had a few parts from it and they seem well respected on seloc, so all should be good.
