with hastings, quoted me another £200 at renewal to change from the old CLK Merc (w reg) 230k convertible (please just forgive me - i have now seen the light and got the VX!!), told them to stick it and funny enough they did me a discount and here i am only paying an additional £33 for the year with protected NCB added too!! happy with that - not had any trouble with them for the last 10-ish years on any of our 3 policies

That's really good. Glad you got rid of the merc......it's an old mans car!
