....and before anyone asks, yes, I have tried to look through all the wealth of information on this site! (it is good). As a relatively new owner I was not aware of the MOT pitfall regarding the standard radiator and letting the testers leave the engine running. They now have a flooded garage and I have what I am fairly sure is a radiator who's plastic end is open to the atmosphere. Thank God I've got a trailer - they were going to drive it out of the garage. I did at least stand over them during the jacking process - they do a local Lotus garage's MOTs, but this was the Saturday morning team. Is the alloy rad from Leicester Radiators still the favourite value for money option? IF the rev limiter indoors allows it, I MAY go the supercharger option in the future. If so, do I need to think about an uprated rad in cooling terms? Thanks Chaps (and Chapesses), I will now go and study the "How to take off your Clam Tutorial!

ProAlloy rad or the ES/EP uprated rads will be best.

I have the ProAlloy rad on mine. It fits well with the proAlloy chargecooler if you want to SC later. Good quality bit of kit BTW much better than the standrad offering. Chaz.

Another vote for the ProAlloy radiator, after my stock one started ever so slowly losing coolant in traffic I bit the bullet and got the uprated radiator. Fan doesn't kick in as often and I know it doesn't have crappy plastic connector things.
