A 205 Gti with fully functioning headlights.
And then after he drove into the back of me at the hairpin.

Looks like it's going to be another wet race at Donnington tomorrow.

Here's an on-board video from the car that hit me in the first race at Pembrey, watch it from about 9 minutes in.

Lead shot in the spare wheel well?If you want any more info, please do ask. There are a few Saxo/106 quirks it's worth knowing, plus a few (thankfully cheap) mods you'll need to finish races.
Can't wait to see you guys out and happy to help where I can.
I always found my Saxo VTR to be far too light at the back.
Yes more weight will win the race.......
Unless
Edit:
I really should look at the date on posts

Love Pembrey, its my local! Great driving! shame the front runners have so much more straight line speed, whats the regs on what you can do to the engine?

Regs are very open. Dunc and Ali are in Class C (1.6 16v) but even a lot in Class D will be running 150bhp+

This weekend saw the last race of the season for us. Thank you to everyone who's followed our progress this year, those who came along to cheer us on, and those who helped with car prep or advice. It's very much appreciated and we certainly couldn't have done it without you. Full write up to follow (it's my turn).
A few pics from Oulton this weekend:

What's the plan for next season, or is it too early to say?
Best case I'll be out for some sprinting, unless I do an arrive and drive package (which pretty much wipes out a year's budget in 3 race weekends), or find someone who needs a second driver.

Plan so far is to make a list of things that we'd like to do to the car over the winter, then work out which bits we can afford! replace the wheel arch that fell off, replace the front light cluster. There's a lot of weight saving to do, race cams and manifold we think. Paint the interior.
We've not discussed it properly yet, but i'd like to stay with the CSCC as we know the format and other drivers in our series.
It would be nice to see you get out next season, Alex. What would you do the sprints in?
