Will fezzs units include these or will we need to buy separately?? if separate then I cant see the original price fezz quoted being kept...

Hello All,

 

Being back online after some heavy weeks/months at job.

 

I have spoken to manufacturer a while ago, and had planned to throw in some 5 sets of covers with e mark but w/o hardcoating for a special price to see the feedback of the people reagrding quality, fitment etc.

 

However, as I have now seen that fezzazus has started to encounter this topic also, and has obviously funded that project already,........

 

I guess I´m out.

 

Just sad about the OE covers (which have been damaged for moulding) and time spent.

 

But I guess now that´s it.

Anyway thanks for all asking and trying to support the project.

Update:

 

have spoken once again with manufacturer.

 

We have decided that we wil do the pre series anyway, as the effort has already be put in anyway......

Will be available in around 3 weeks most likely.

 

Will post updates for anyone still interested.

Preseries most likely available by next week.

Just came out from the forming process.

Will update as soon as here.

 

Preseries specification:

 

- Black borders slightly wider than OE

- no inner edge => needs care when bonding toegther because of glue, but therefore looks more clean/aggressive

- No hardcoating

- no E-mark (can be easily applied "at home" (sticker etc.)

- competitive pricing

 

After the preseries is validated they wil be sold also with:

- hardcoating

- e-mark

Iv heard that there was a plan to look into production of the rear light lenses? Is this true or is it just a roumour? Cheers

There is a guy selling them already. Username GMS all they need is a little smithing of the edges and they're £80 for the pair

So then,

 

First 11 sets of covers (initially w/o hardcoating and e-mark) are on the way to german-forum members.

Let´s see how they will like them.

 

Depending on the feedback, I might be offering soon with hardcoating and e-mark.

 

And depending on all this, maybe something will be done towards the rear covers.

But that´s still quite far away.

Also depending the comparison between fezz´s covers and mine and such, final possibilities on price.

 

However, I will keep you posted.
