Yeah, been about a bit, those were from Brazil, Malta, Egypt, Cuba and Mexico, got plenty more just takes a while to sort through the pictures nowadays.
Just checked, think I need another back up drive.....

Yeah, trouble is the drive they are stored on also has 160G of music&200G of videos. Luckily the wife has also burnt them to CD&DVD religiously over the years as well so double back up in place, now image sizes are increasing the drive (500G) is filling up fast!I

That's a nice time lapse. Looks so different one to the next. Do you have the timestamps on those? Would be interesting to see.

Good Morning HH. Happy New Year Wishes. Well done for making that extra effort to capture a beautiful sunrise. I keep trying to but am being daily thwarted by an overcast sky that seems to not want to give up it's sun rising scenes. The same for the sets also. These next few weeks are supposed to be cold but clear, so i am expecting to get some more compilations to add soon. I look forward to seeing more of your contributions. Much thanks... ..icey :grouphug:

New Years day sunrise

Here's mine from the same time - New Years day 2013, but this is over Prague.

Posted Image

There was a great sunset over Germany on the way back but I was in the car and by the time I'd found a place to stop it had finished.

A few efforts from this evenings set.

I apologise ahead of time for the depth of field being lacking and the unoriginal curtain of trees i do so love but will try to correct both aspecs for my next contributions.

Best regards and warm wishes to all...

Gosh...thank you chaps. I wasn't/aren't too impressed with them to tell the truth. I couldn't get the depth of field correct, i am happy with the colours and composition but as hard as i tried, i couldn't get the foreground and back drop all in focus and the time ran way from me (that sun sure goes quickly when she wants to). Thank you again for the encouragement. I shall persevere. Best regards to you both... ..icey :grouphug:

I don't know why but that second photo reminded me of the dream sequence from Porco Rosso, which wasn't a sunset but was a beautifully drawn sky.
