So finally got my roof swapped over and now I have a black roof on that doesn't leak or split every time it's moved. :D

Also managed to get one of my stickers on.

My old tan one was growing cracks and holes every time I put it up or down.
That one was a 2nd hand one off a car that was being broken. Much cheapness. thumbsup

Since I'm going on the hoon this weekend I decided to treat the shed and get it looking good for all to see, so I handed my keys to my neighbour this morning and told him to polish the sh*t out of it.    :tt:

so here are the results after 2 rounds of machine polishing to restore the paintwork and take the scratches out, and then hand waxed and sealed:

That looks scarily good and healthy. thumbsup Still can't believe what good value older MX-5's are.

I quite liked the roof originally but seeing the black makes me realise I was wrong. So very very wrong!

My mx5 was the same way colour with a back roof so i knew it would like good... I just initially thought the tan looked better. It doesn't.

I quite liked the tan, but the option of a cheap 2nd hand black roof came up so I jumped at it. thumbsup
