Had some parcels arrive this week. Got my turret brace delivered but it's boring black. I think it needs a coat of paint before it goes on. There have been suggestions (thanks LY_Scott and Lou_m) that I should paint it beige/tan colour to match the interior and roof. Any other ideas? Also took ownership of some Eibach springs in great condition for the price of postage. :) Just need to wait for the shocks to arrive so that I can put these on. Looking forward to getting it all put on and setup.

My first Mini was in BL Beige and it looked just like baby poo, it did have red plastic seats with fake stitching though - nice :D

A meriva had a akward sized V which may be more suited to the 5.

Nothing Vauxhall has ever done would fit the Puma

Awesome. Maybe we could meet in McDonald's and you could leave your other half in the van?

So that's the first "performance mod done to the car. Got the front strut/turret brace fitted.
Posted Image

Also did a little bit of weight saving. The air feed that came from the airbox no longer fitted in it's current position, so instead of it doing a big U shape up into the engine bay, I cut the end off it and turned it upside down so that the air feed is still coming from the same place but I've just got rid of a kg of plastic. :tt:

The turret brace will probably do feck-all though.

Coming along nice Bob Thought you may have gone for a V in wood to match the steering wheel. Balsa obviously to keep the weight down and a good colour match with the roof  Whats it like on fuel Bob compared to the VX , similar ?

Like a normal car then

One less on the forecourt occasionally on the hoon then

Should be fun filling up with so many cars this year.

Did you look into lowering Bob ? My mate was going to put a Mazda kit on his which was supposed to

take it back to the original design ride height before it was raised for American markets or something

Is that a non pikey fix

Think I asked you this once sorry if I have
