Oi oi - my ears pricked up at hearing red tubby in Kent, although that dealer must be just 4-5 miles up the road from me I haven't heard of them before but strange as it may seem I don't get out and about around my own neighbourhood much (I usually get out of medway as soon as possible LOL)Thanks for the list got some good points, I'm going with a friend who's a development engineer at ford, so he's experienced and a 2nd pair of eyes for us to go over it with a tooth comb. Will grill the dealer and have a good look round it before even considering it.
I'm quite particular so I'm looking for a good example.
Mod wise I wand to make it my own with some cosmetic work, ie. black rims, possibly a kit or some sprayed bits, and was thinking a re-map to start, then maybe a larini exhaust.
Any advice on some good mods?
Oddly enough mine is good example, calypso red, black rims, black screen surround, black V-grill, larini exhaust - could get paranoid if it wasn't for the fact it isn't mapped.
If I'm around when you go to see it then might be worth meeting up for a comparison. I'm no expert car buyer but could maybe spot something.
Btw. a VX isn't anywhere near the closest thing to a bike on 4 wheels - plenty of kit cars, caterhams, westfields, aerial atom, etc. are a lot closer (from an ex-biker's point of view). Nothing bad in that mind you... all the elise derivatives are the closest you'll get with good year-round practicality and comfort, relatively speaking...

quackers my favourite road bikes ! ,but the ducati's no slouch, had a 916sp a few years ago and tracked it, nothing comes close to the sound of straight through termignoni exhausts ,they used to vibrate the double glazed windows of my house!Westie, I had a Ducati 848 which is what I did the ring on, got a respectable 9:32 around there after 8 Laps which I don't think is too bad.
Right now I got a track zx7 which I turned from a road bike into a track bike, nothing fancy just some better brakes as the standard are cheese!
I'm bike mad! Got a bike chain tattooed round my right arm + 46 and 58!
Epic! Thanks man can't wait!
