Looking good mate but i wouldn't have the balls to go that far, cutting the hole for the harrop is all i need. How much weight do you reckon you have lost with the window, roll bar, head pads etc etc all removed then the coupe back fitted, it must be quite a good saving? You have now lost all advisability from the rear, are you going to fit revers cameras?

How do van drivers ever park and drive? Loosing the rear view isn't the end of the world IMO.

As I am couping it you can't see out the back anyway so will have to just manage with wing mirrors I drive a Astra van every day with bulkhead fitted so am used to not seeing out the back,
Any way not to worried about things coming up behind me with the Harrop on who needs a rear view mirror lol
Saved a fair bit of weight I reckon

Very true, but i find the vx really hard to reverse then any other car i have driven, i think its down to being so low. Vans sit quite high so makes for easier reversing. I will be fitting some sort of reverse camera or sensors on mine just to help me out.

You can't see anything from the rear view mirror when reversing anyway. The side mirrors give you all the positioning you need.

Yeah defo wont be able to see anything with the coupe back fitted so removal of it all is not a bad idea, i just couldn't hack that much out of my car to do it i dont think. Looking forward to seeing your results anyway. Whens the mapping happing with the harrop? you will be beating joe to a running harrop at this rate

I dont use the mirrors for reversing tbh ive got a bad habit of just turning my head, so its going to take me a while to get the hang of it once the coupe back is fitted :D

Do you have pics of how you've connected it to the intake manifold? Also, are you fitting some kind of intake temp sensor so you know if its taking effect? Looks really good by the way Lee. Not that I know how you will yet, but is it worth all the effort to put the air filter above the engine? Plenty of air coming through the ear I'd of though.

Always wanted to coupe the Vx so doing this you might aswel use the air from the scoop and after seeing Jamie's Time attack Exige with this set up it just makes so much sense .
I agree plenty of air coming in from the ear .

Want to see how you get on with the meth for intake temps. If there's any issues ill be investing in an LSJ loom and ecu. Do you have any gauges to read your intake temp, by the way?
