Well ive decided to copy lee with the roll cover.. Didnt want to cut it but it tbh it would be daft to try make something already there.. Personally.. I think this should be the way to mount this coupe kit.

Looking ace Lee!! Have you got another solution for fitting the front of the coupe down or are you waiting for the brackets I'm sending you...? How much to make me a hinge?

Nice work Lee. Mine hinges at the roll bar and moving the hinge point means you dont get the same 'head' clearance as the OE hinge point.

New air filter and piping came today filter is moosive lol



My roof scoop will feed this filter in an enclosed air box on bulkhead

looks rather special...cant wait to see it fitted (i may be getting the coupe back on mine so will be stealing your ideas in the future ) whats you plans for the box? surely because of the size of the hole and where its located (top of windscreen) lots of moisture and crap is going to get in more than usual...therefore you will have to keep and eye on it and clean it more than usual? or am i over thinking...

The reason for the huge filter is its the same set up Jamie in his time attack Exige is running .
And Chav I don't live in Essex and drive a hot hatch and play with hoses and where shorts and flip flops all year Chav boy ;-)

Lee brackets went in the post today. Material is too thick but you'll get the idea. If they can line up let me know how to mod them and I'll get the guy churning them out

Haven't had much time this weekend with doing other cars etc
Finished aero catches and started making air box to cold and wet ,hopefully bond roof together in the week and play about with air box I will post some pics up when done a bit more ;-)

Is it special glue used for bonding the roof skins together or just tiger seal? Are you putting a seal around the coupe part? as your not keeping any of the original boot are you?

Yes a special glue jonyboy told me about as he said tiger seal could fail
Yes I will have a seal fitted to clam and coupe parts in different places .

Bit of an update coupe nearly finished got it booked in for spraying on the 7th, then I can fit final seals etc.
Building the air box nearly finished it plumed it all up fitted temp sensor and took for a drive ,air filter is good for 1600 bhp so should be ok still got work to do on this should get it done by the weekend ready for snetterton .

I will be blanking the front of with more alli and fitting a rubber seal so when you close coupe it seals air box then all air from scoop feeds filter and then gold heat shield it all .
If you look closely I have cut the clam so you have great access to the iner arches from above opens the engine bay right up .
