No the English havent set me up but my computer with the crappy windows 8.1 has

since I am no longer able to past with my computer into this forum, but was able to with my phone.

So, last time I have tried to work on with my car, it´s tuff when you have a 3 year old son and we have been very busy at work lately

but If I haven´t spend time in the garage I have tried to do some research specially about the cooling system. I´m no expert in cooling systems

so I jst tried to copy the Honda std system and when I found this coolant cap neck from a Late model Honda Civic it became so much easier.

Atleast it feels like it solved. I will connect this coolant neck with a T-hoose. and the pipie from this in a overfilling expansion coolant tank, then

it will be more or less like a Honda OEM system.

And the Engine, as you see it´s in. When I first put the Engine in it didn´t fit so I became a Little nervous, but this was because the Honda Engine is tilted

backward. And it´s not balanced as it problably is in a Honda. So when I tilted it as it should then the mounts came to the right Place and my intake manifold

that I though should be very Close to the fire wall since I have bought a new manifold compared to the one I had when I used my Engine as a dummy actually had a more space then expected. My generator tho was closer to the fire wall then expected, this is due to 15-25mm long spacers I have because I couldn´t find the right belt and didn´t thought this would be a problem. Now when it´s a bit closer the expected I think I need to investigate this a bit futher and maybe buy some new parts.

I made sure to put it in because it´s keep the motivation up.

And it´s a mile stone.

Thank you.

BR, Per

Thank you Vocky. Well I´m not sure I have built the Engine in the right way (speaking performance wise)

but I haven´t decided what I want really either. Anyway this Engine have massive potential.

I´ve even seen ppl change there 3 liter NSX Engine to a smaller K24. Lighter Engine with same performance possibilities.

Does anyone know what thread (male) it is on the brake(gearbox) fluid pipe to the gearbox?

upper clutch fitting where it joins the alloy block is M10 x 1

The lower one where the hose joins the metal pipe is M14 x 1 ...... probably

I don´t know Vocky if I should say thank you after each and everytime you help me of if I

should send you a cake and say thank you when Everything is up and running.

Both Speedster clutch line and Honda slave clutch cylinder was M10*1.

My right Engine mount (std rubber mount) is collapsing. I have 3 mounts on the left side and 1 on the right side.

Would a new OEM mount help me or is there any stronger aftermarket variants?

You need to remove the tank panel to access those hose connections.

Looking good! I used the vibra road spec on the vag conversion 2 tops and just a single one on the box rear mount. Nice and still with a lot less vibration than I thought and more than enough for even the road. Suspect competition would give a fair bit of vibration but very very little movement Engine moves under load a lot less than the let / leh with or without inserts If it was an outright track / race car I would go comp spec box mount only DG

For example, number 9 in the sketch above, is this just for cosmetic or is it a part to keep the hardtop in Place?

`What about 1+, 23 and 11, are those parts needed?

I have an early LHT version with the 1st version of brackets, I think they have been changed now, not really sure what it is you have and if Jon can help you out. I can tell you you need the seals and brackets from somewhere but the interior cover pannels (9, 10 and 11) are not needed on the LHT version but can be added to tidy it up.

I'm sure he will be along to shed some light when he spots this.

Don't forget you are looking at an Elise diagram there so I believe part 23 is not on the vx?

It is an OEM hardtop, and yes the OEM hardtop seals and fixings are the same as the later Lotus hardtops.
