Anyone knows ho high OEM tachometer can show?

My scale is going to 8500 but is the hardware capable of this or how high?

How do you guys with higher rev limit solve this?

Br, Per

Indeed, the original needle will simply stop at 7000 rpm.

Vocky and I have found that when revving 8000+  :ninja:

On the VX220 Turbo Stack unit (which is only slightly different to yours) the tacho definitely reaches to where 8000 would be painted on the dial.

Almost wanting Winter time by sorting out my car for a full 2016 season

I try to fix some easy stuff now.

Last weekend I wrapped my under dash panels and this weekend I´m hoping to install my Sparco steering Wheel

for  some better steering feel.

I´ve complained aboutmy oversteering and Thinks I start to understand the situation now and will work on this during the Winter time

but till then I am goin to install this on my car Before last track day the 13th of september on Kinnekulle ring.

Next week it will be some cone tracking at Vårgårda Airport.

I really like the Turbo wing and even more the Italitech (or what there name is) elongated version

what is bothering me is that the wing doesn´t take air on the underside. So with this in mind I wanted to do something with similar style

but actually producing some downforce.

This wing will be sitting low, so I don´t get in trouble with Swedish police, and will be possible to adjust higher up for track Days.

Anyone having any idea howto mount this on the backside of the clam?

For next season I will make a diffuser and for track Days a Porsche 911 GT3 RS replica wing , but only for track Days.

The wing didnt get ready in time as I was hoping and now it´s no panic any more.

This update is a big late, but 2 weeks ago I was at Kinnekulle ring here in sweden.

The day before this Itraditionally went throught the car, placed tools in it, washed it, check engine oil

new brake fluid and also got info to fix my tach with a pull up resistance of 2.2k ohm (I will try a 10k), and I did, when on

test drive the tacho was stone ded and I got stranded at the supermarket parking slot since my battery died.

So the next morning I woke up early I started my battery charger and fixed myself, later on when trying to start the car

it didn´t start. I put the charger on again and while waiting for the battery to charger I decided to cut the wire

so if with the instrument panel steering wheel and surroundng panels and cut it.

Then try to start it it still didn´t work so I had to jump start the car and it started

and so did my tachometer, yay.

I drove my 110km to the track and begun my day slowly. with 90 cars and open pitlane

it ment long ques uphill.

Later on my dad arrived with a starter battery and I could start my first session.

With my rear shock set and 7 from softest instead of 4 as preevious I got into a nice rythm and had a nice feeling for the car.

I still miss a lot of rear end grip tho.

3 sessions in total was OK not the best but still OK.

But on the last session I got an error code, dind´t think much about this. Thought it was probably some lambda or something.

But later when I was going to drive home the car didn´t ran fine at all, I thought it could be because I was lowon fuel

but after filling it up some it didn´t go away. I couldn´t see the engine light but after I learnt it, it was obvious I was in limp mode

2000rpmand 63kmh all the  way home, 110km.

When telling my wife about the modification of the car as seen in the picture above she was saying ok I will look for the papers to fill in for a devorce, I´m thinking of

maybe doing this for next winter.

Also is there any fuel pump that is a direct replacement or easy fit that is recommended for our cars that can handle 400bbhp E85?

I might need this for next year if I should do a SFRO registration here in sweden.

How good or shitty is the OEM rollbar, thinking of installing a new roll Cage or modifiy theOEM roll bar as MAXR have done.

Thank you, Per

Yhea but putting a X in excisting rollbar should reinforce it a lot, keeping excisting mounts for soft and hard top.

And some bars going close to windscreen surrounding.

And don´t have to put a lot of work taking it out and make a new one.

I´m not planing to race it, just a lot f trackdays.

Anyone having any advice regarding uprated fuel pump?

Anyone have any idea how to lower the driver seat?

Anyone having any advice regarding uprated fuel pump?

Check with Gaz here on the site if his fuel pump could handle that. It retains the dual stage fuel pump setup which helps to prevent fuel starvation in fast corners. If not then you may need to switch to a separate swirl pot or reservoir that's filled by the normal fuel pump at low pressure and then use a high pressure, high volume pump that feeds from that. More complicated though and it gives more hoses and reservoirs and other bits that can leak or cause problems.

Anyone have any idea how to lower the driver seat?

Actual lowering of the seat itself is hard. Have a look under the seat at how much space is left between the seat and the floor.. About 5 mm :) What is commonly done is to either buy seats that have little or no padding (eg. MOG, Reverie, etc.) so you sit lower 'in' the seat or to use/buy a seat that's tilted back a bit more so your head goes lower and you need to stretch your arms a little more. Bye, Arno.

If you supply the pump with proper current (thick enough wiring direct from battery (use alternator or startermotor) + relay), it can support around 300-3325BHP on normal fuel.

That is IF you don't go too high in fuel pressure...

So 3.5 bar fuel pessure 220 bbhp on E85, but can it handle the E85?

I mean with seals and so?

Anyone knows how to calculate the size of the injectors needed?

Nice garage Per!

Do you play music to the car to help it to sleep?

Did you sell all your tools to pay for the garage?

Yes musice is a must to make her sleep. Ni that stereo have been in different stored away for 15-20 years and my wife Asked me to throw it away but I saw the opportunity to have it somewhere. :-) And this new garage is just besides my old garage with a 145cm wide opening in between. Br, Per
