Getting tired of my clone elm327 bluetooth device needing to be reset all the time

however, having trouble finding a genuine elm 327 device such as this one is out of stock https://www.scantool...-interface.html

anyone used the newer STN1110 based obd devices with obdtuner?

the one i have is the bluetooth version of that one (same sticker at least). To be fair, it's only the bluetooth connection which is a bit crap, once connected it's fine

I'll keep it in mind

I have the one with the usb lead and it works no problem. I did hear that the BT ones were a bit flakey.

Eta try getting the phone close to the obd2, I use a BT one for fault codes and found it needs to be close.

I had to email Peter for pricing - 885EUR for obdtuner and 1275EUR for Pro (or at least that's the price he gave me a couple of weeks ago)

When lift off throttle, e.g. going down a hill, courtenay map would stop injecting fuel and AFR would go super lean

With obdtuner map in same situation, AFR is still maintained at 14.7

Is it like that for everyone else? Pros and Cons (fuel consumtion, less engine braking?)

What would I have to set on my obdtuner map to make it pull the fuel when lifting off?

Thanks!

Coasting/lift should result in an 22xx afr. Has normally nothing to do with the software you are running, more with what you do with it.

has anyone run Peters software on a macbook via parallels?

seeing as my ECU arrived today having taken a 4 week tour of northern Europe (courtesy of DHL), i'll hopefully get cracking on this at the weekend.

Id go with Windows running in VirtualBox, worked well for any VCDS type stuff Ive ran before. You can download trial Windows images from Microsoft
