Make sure you measure the rear wheel size by marking the tyre and roll the car until it reaches the same point and measuring the distance travelled in mm.

I realised that this point is very important and a key for realistic figures.

I am wonderign if anyone can help me out. I am trying to answer/get the right parts for this software and my Harrop...

So far he has the following and needs the later bit of information:

Known

    [*]Harrop 80mm pulley
    [*]Ported Saab head
    [*]Blower cams
    [*]Eagle rods
    [*]Siemens 60lb injectors
    [*]68mm throttle body
Unknown:

      [*](T)MAP sensor type?
[*]Do you want to use the temperature sensor from the TMAP for measuring the boost temperature?
      [*]Engine RPM limiter setting?
      [*]Fuel pressure?
      [*]Max boost?
The first two parts are where I am lost, if anyone can point in int he right diection of getting the correct info for this this please do help :)

Fuel pressure with the siemens injectors does not need to be changed as far as I am aware, so standard?

      Max boost? no idea!

RPM setting, i am on a saab ported head from vocky.

My car specs are as follows. 2.5" free flowing exhaust, it got great results and is a true 2.5" system (i am aware that this may still be a bottle neck)

harrop on the provided 80mm pulley.

      eagle rods

      blower cams

      balance shafts removed

      Saab head exhaust ported

i do not have any additional cooling such as water injection.

Tmap will use the oem temp sensor taken from the intake pipe which will then read temp alongside the

use the oem  fuel pressure regulator with the 630cc injectors will be ok.

RPM is what you like I suggest not over 7200 if you don't have double valve springs

Boost will depend on the size of the pulley you use

Thankyou gentlemen.

It was peter that asked the question, so i assumed i needed to get the information for him.

Compression ratio is 8.9:1 on overbore wiseco pistons.

I havebeen told that the saab head has better springs than the stadnard head and therefore will stand up to more. but agree a circa 7k rev limit is wise till i can upgrade to be sure. Without additional cooling keeping it lower is probably best.

Does anyone know a cheap source for the map sensor?

eBay has millions of them as the 2.5bar and 3.0bar sensors seemed to be fitted to just about everything GM have ever made and at decent prices to. Just make sure you get a genuine Bosch one.

Saab valves are better for turbo/S/C setup not certain what their max revs would be, ebay for the TMAP sensor numbers above.

Here's a 3.0bar Bosch MAP with the OEM loom plug still attached for a proper install. Just need to modify the loom for the existing MAP and the existing IAT sensor and connect them into this plug and bingo, you've got intake temps as well as pressure measured in the manifold and not intake temps measured pre-charger

And thanks for the pic of the list Chill, that was very useful and reassuring to see the code on the list.

It'll work fine. As long as you've obviously got the controller with it, it'll output what the ECU needs for logging.
