Fair enough.

no it's not!

Chill, hand your man badge in.

Man math says you should put them on now while you're getting the rest done because it'll be cheaper and just in case to safe :)

My wife has "borrowed"/ taken my man badge, I would to see some evidence of the advantages. I also have been told standard springs are good for 7500 rpm So a bit of R&D here on standard springs from me

The diblas springs are a straight swap. I'll post a pic of my chewed valve stems later should you need further encouragement to get those stnd springs swapped out.

It's worth a try But I haven't decided yet Confused.com There is a lot of conflicting believes but you can't argue with problems others have had, Are the springs different on our saab engines

OK, so here's a couple of pictures edited when I was still discovering the issue.

Seems valve bounce is causing collets to vibrate on valve stem, you can see the abnormal wear on the stem and also one valve visibly lower than its neighbour.

What was I doing at the time? travelling at speed through N.Wales with a V12 vantage, an M3 CSL and a new Masser, so yes, I was gunning it a bit, but car was on standard map and I don't normally drive to the rev limit, it was more likely caused by sustained high revs (circa 5k) for sustained periods!

It was after than journey that I noticed a loud tap, took me a while to discover the culprit, changed chains and lifters before realizing - DUH!

Quite a few valves were affected....

Me and bargi will be getting the dblias ones so stick them all together and ask for some discount. Find your scrotum and give it a tug, let them balls drop out again. ;)

Whenever. I was waiting to see what I would be hit for on the cam tax but sounds like its only going to be £30 or so. I know we can combine shipping easily. Let's see if we can get a little off?
