Powerwise it will not differ much (and it should not..)
Driving it and feel it actually on the road is a totally different matter.

No issues Ray I fancy doing a straight comparison between CS and OBDtuner and am booked in at CS in 3 months time for some RR time. I've got a spare ECU so thought I might as well get Peter's software on there, but it would need to be swappable as I'm more happy with my CS setup.
Yep you can do that, like I said I changed nothing and ran ODBTuner configured for the CS default setup and then swap back and forth.
Sticking with the MAP sensor I guess you're not getting the best out of ODBTuner over CS map, of course once you do go TMAP you can't go back to CS (which I guess is what you were getting at in earlier)
In your current form at a high level ODBTuner will get rid of the random 3 blips at start and give you a proper cold start map (explained here)
What I got most out of it was OEM throttle feel and progression. The CS map left it very titchy (perhaps worse with the 3 inch pulley)
You'll also notice a difference with small throttle inputs, where the CS map will bog very slightly and you get the whispy/twittering sound it's all but gone with ODBTuner.
It's more of a subtle change going to ODBTuner, def worth it though.

Might be worth asking vocky All I no is on standard valve springs and stock z22se I was reving at 7100 with no issues I was under the impression others are reving higher on standard valve springs. So I could take mine a lot higher then 7400 rpm? Will the Saab side of yours be helping out?
Posted 27 February 2014 - 08:49 PM
You can. Whether it's worth it or not depends on whether your engine is still delivering power then or whether it's tailing off.So I could take mine a lot higher then 7400 rpm?

I'm assuming when I come to set up my car up with this software that it will be easy to read what's going to be best for my engine?I've got a 7500rpm limit on mine with standard valve springs. You'll be fine up to 7800rpm with the uprated valve springs and probably higher but it's unlikely to be worth it. You can set the limit wherever you want in the software.
