Drive away solution has its own appeal.

Even at £650 I'd possibly go for it, but I cant stomach spending that amount on software, no matter how awesome it is.

organise a group buy then, you know you'll regret it if you don't ;)

it's worth it for not having to drive all the way to CS and sit around for the whole day to get it done!

Mapping the upper rpm in learn mode did make me cringe.

I/we had to do that in the town where Peter lives. (when this was all beta)
Those poor people had a few months of nutters revving up to 7k in the most impossible locations

Our german buddy Ultimate is running a tmap sensor (afr correction based on iat) instead of a regular map sensor wired on his harrop on the B207. I still need to ask Peter as from which release of the 2.0 that is possible, as could still be beta.

He spent 3 years working out how to encrypt and protect it and a year working out how to make it work. :P

Development on 1.0 started november 2007.

It should already be in, as it's simply relocation/rewiring the stock IAT sensor to the manifold position. (Where it should be on a boosted car)
IAT integrated into the MAP sensor => Bosch TMAP sensor.

Only thing is that the T-compensation table should take this into account... (My LSJ starts retarding spark above 50*C. Not sure how the Z22SE/OBD compensates)

Ultimate mentoined that he had to flip/enable an option in the gui in his topic on the german forum.
I've asked a screenshot from him, so i can see if i have it.
If not, i need an update.

Did you alkmaar boys register for the dyno session yet?

I might just do that, i'm doing some man maths to try to decide which way to deal with the mapping situation when supercharging.

I think Peter is going to update the website with the new firmware details(the site only has details of version1) and the contact details he would prefer anyone interested to use with regards to the software.

I would love to try this but I would lose my cms map (overwritten) and if it didn't go as planned I would have to get back to them somehow more £££ Might have to wait for someone else with somewhere near the same setup as me.

Buy a 2nd ecu and send to Peter??

Yes, this is what i did.
I bought a cheap spare ECU (from a Vectra if I remember correctly) without the key chips and without the corresponding immobiliser.
The spare ECU was sent to Peter with a copy of my Speedster ECU files (Was able to copy them with a SPI 028)
Peter was able to reload the data code from my immobiliser with his software in the spare ECU.
If you send 2 ECU i think he can read one and convert the second with the immobiliser code.

This is a great application (V1 for me) and i never regreted to get it.

@Smiley; not yet. Will probably fire-up Rob's Harrop Z20NET/LSJ tomorrow and have to see if he can finish the car in time for this. I keep my Yellow Project in one piece to run it there as M62-LSJ.
