They're sh!t and discontinued now but go for anywhere between £40 and £100. Fill your boots on five of 'em.   http://www.ebay.co.u...=item51c1f89184

just wanted something to map the car easy to handle and doesn't cost to much.

can you try recalibrating the sensor ?

Not even sure you can, but worth a go

I have a PLX they don't need calibrating in open air if I remember correctly, may have died..

Jump to 20 in most wideband applications tends to indicate a loose wire or wiring break somewhere. Eg. between wideband controller voltage output and gauge or ECU.

Also check for melting wiring to the sensor..

Edit: in some cases it can be a sensor overheat that makes it shutdown. IN that case you need to fit it with a cooling spacer or further downstream.

Bye, Arno.

Thanks Arno been looking a bit more closely and it was working ok up to 3500 ish rpm the went to 20 and stayed there so as you say most probably a loose connection, although it did it twice near the same rpm, Strange

Vibrations and intermittent connections can be hell to track down :(

To verify you could try to rig a separate gauge or digital data readout on the PLX controller to see if it's really reading 20+AFR or if the PLX controller itself is still reading normal values. (I think they include a serial cable and software?)

That should tell you if the problem is somewhere Lambda - PLX connection or PLX - ECU connection or perhaps even the power supply to the PLX controller itself.

Bye, Arno.

three runs, stopped at that, same approx rpm I don't think it's a connection/ vibration problem all at about the same rpm. Better go through the PLX troubleshoot section

just thought i would ask what peoples thoughts were on this it could somthing or nothing,

I have recently uploaded my long term fuel trims and was very surprised how high they were

Posted Image

the last time i used the car was on a track day at angelsey and a spirited drive home but i have been starting the car up regularly getting it up to temp and then turning it off

is it because i  have only been starting the car up and not going anywhere or somthing more, normally my fuel trims are no more than 2.5%

O2 sensor working ok? Did you fit a new one with the Saab engine? My trims have never been over 8% and are generally less than 3%. Take it for a drive and run the data logging to check the O2 sensor.

Could this be down to a boost leak of some sort, Went out in the car last night after resetting the fuel trims And noticed a hissing noise from the engine bay Not investigated yet but I'm off work tomoz so will strip it down and have a look
