Saab B207 stock internals, flowed head, ZZP LSJ Stage 1 cams, dbilas uprated springs. M62 with 3.05" pully. Tmap 2.5 bar. Full 2.5" tullett system with an oem turdo cat welded in. (after the tullett one failed)

You might be on the knock limit with the 9.5:1 compression pistons.

It is possible Tom but I don't thing the learn ignition is very good at adding ignition but is very good at reducing it if knock is detected Adding ignition I've always done manually followed by the knock learn session

I read the changelogs on all new versions, and it was all LS4 stuff, but will load up the latest this evening when doing a few runs.

)

Laptop in the boot for Zandvoort... ;-)

Have to refresh my OBD skills a bit, but is there a table with ignition correction for temperatures? As Smiley's looks to be running less ignition (up top)  than commanded @ 180KPa

ignition is pulled by knock

fuel added for temps

there maybe a something happening in the back ground

Ignition is off course pulled by Knock Retard, but even without any knock the ignition is still not identical to the commanded spark advance. There is a hidden table that puls a bit of advance with increasing IAT temps. (and there are lot's of hidden correction tables in the Z22SE ecu.. :sleep: )

The one smiley is using may be retarding for all knock But agree there is other things in the back ground. I wonder if next years new edition will give access to these

Are you tuning your car without a wideband?

How can you do that? AFR's are as important as timing and other stuff. Running lean can cause knock as well wich you are now trying to correct with ignition retard while fuel may be the key.

Smiley, get a wideband in first a.s.a.p.

I guess we'll see how I get on with 10.4:1 and a 3.0" pulley then... ;)

And no wideband!!! OMFG!

So go back to base map add the fuel learn But don't smooth it until you do the wideband WOT mapping then smooth it out
