I've done 90% of my power runs in 3rd gear since taking the M62 off Due to suspected wheel spin from cold rubber

Just sent Peter an Email with your VIN and he can tell you. Info@obdtuner.com I am sure it has OBD if your throttle response is perfect, even in cold-start-mode ;-) If not, not ;-)

Im running stage 2 SC, im wanting more power though. Im assuming it would it be possible to run greater power at a later stage with no issues. Had the car just over a year now, and have the CS map on it, however, having heard about the improvements possible with this software, its mighty appealing.

If you are running a stage 2, i asume you're running a stock engine?

That leaves you around the 250/260 mark, regardless if using CS map or obdtuner.

If you engine is enforced and you do go dutch, it's a matter of first trying more agressive ignition (contact chill), or a smaller pully.

Or both.

Depends what you mean by 'at a later stage' if you change your con rods and pistons between now and then, then of course you can run more power, but its commonly accepted that 250/260 bhp is the limit for standard conrods (GM tested them failure slight above this, but this was with N2O injection and didn't include the HP lost to running the supercharger).

Appreciate that i need a stronger engine to go further with the power, im currently on 240hp from CS. Just want to makesure i can go for 300 with this software and its totally remapable from 240 to 300 without any extra costs etc.

The mapping functionality is 100% identical for either stage 2, all the way up to 5.

I saw this for the first time this month, and thought i'd mention it.

When you run an obdtuner logging, and an error code is generated during the logging session, you will get an extra tab called "freezeframe".

It's not mentioned in the manual.

The only benefit id have is better driveability, and no need for RR sessions?

Download the software and play around with it. It essentially gives you an open ecu, you can set the temperature the fan comes on, injector type, disable get so on as well as mapping facilities and power measuremrnt

I think this has been in the software for quite some time
Must mean you haven't any error codes Stefan
😆
